Job duties:

We are looking for an entry level Java/J2EE Developer. In this position you will:


Learn the full life-cycle of software development of our e-Commerce websites - analysis, design, coding, documentation and testing
Create high-performance Java code by working closely with project lead and other team members.
Work closely with team lead to estimate the tasks allocated.
Work with both the QA and release management teams.
Daily responsibilities could include troubleshooting production issues as well as project development.


Required Skills:
The ideal Entry Level Java/J2EE Developer will have working knowledge of software development processes and methodologies as well as Internet-based development tools and modern software engineering concepts. They will have working knowledge and experience with the following technologies:

0-2 years Java/J2EE experience
Strong Spring & Hibernate
Knowledge of Web Services, SOAP, XML
Strong Oracle database experience with PL/SQL
AJAX & java_script experience preferred
4-year degree in a technical field
Hands on experience with Java/J2EE
In depth comprehension of OOA/OOD
Strong understanding of database concepts and principles (specifically with exposure to Oracle 10g)
Knowledge of standardized MVC development frameworks for Java
Good understanding of basic project management principles, specifically including the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Excellent organization and time-management abilities
Excellent communication skills
Must be highly motivated and detail-oriented with a good attitude.
Can work with minimum supervision and be a valuable contributor in an interactive team environment.
Previous eCommerce experience is a plus.
