Development Summer Intern Positions (5)

OpenLink is the global leader in Transaction Lifecycle Management (TLM) software. We are currently looking to add summer Interns to our Endur product development team.

Endur products provide complete trading and risk management software solutions to commodity and energy companies in all areas of the supply chain. There are currently open positions for summer Interns in the Bulk Commodities, Desktop Technology, and Gas & Power Product Development Teams. Developers in these positions will be given real world assignments that typically involve enhancement design and development, defect analysis and resolution, and automated test case design and development. This is an excellent opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience developing commercial software.

Technical Skills: Java, C/C++, C#.NET, SQL, MS Visual Studio, Design, Debugging, Test Automation
Prerequisites: Qualified candidates have 2+ years of software development education or experience, and are currently pursuing a degree in a Computer Science (or relevant major).




Data Science Development Position (2)

As an intern, you will be given the opportunity to put this training to work on one or more financially related quantitative problems that might involve Monte Carlo simulations or optimization.
Basic requirements for this position include familiarity and some experience with programming in one or more languages and a background in finance or engineering. This is a paid internship with the possibility of a fulltime position after graduation.

Preference will be given to candidates interested in working for OpenLink after the internship, either at our Uniondale offices or in one of our locations around the world.

MIS Summer Intern Positions (2)

Job Description – MIS –NY-SA Intern

• Use basic tools and tests to troubleshoot computer problems.
• Create and manage trouble tickets
• Investigate and resolve software and hardware desktop/laptop, printer, cell phone and basic network problems for end users.
• Familiarity and experience with Windows 7
• Coordinate with other team members on MIS projects and issues.
• Manage documentation and procedures utilizing MS Sharepoint
• Inventory control and organization
• Machine imaging and deployment




QA Summer Intern Positions (3)

Intern #1:
Under the guidance of a QA Analyst, this intern candidate will prepare documented test plans and test results regarding a number of testing initiatives from the QA team. These projects focus on financial, commodity, treasury and accounting operations. The responsibility of the candidate will be to document the results of development code changes and determine how the results compare to those that were planned as well as prepare test plans for eventual automated regression testing.

Intern #2:
Candidate will be responsible for assisting with the development and maintenance of automated testing software solutions which utilize a wide variety of technologies. Individual must have general computer programming knowledge as well as strong problem solving skills, and an understanding of algorithms and data structures. Must be able to work within a team oriented environment and have good communication skills.

Intern #3:
Looking for a candidate that is pursuing a study in computer science with an understanding of the fundamentals of various programming languages. Knowledge of shell scripting, such as PERL, is valuable since this candidate will help the technical QA team maintain and develop tools to aid in the day-to-day operations of the Development and QA teams.
