Facebook-Hofstra Cybersecurity Night

Curious about what the industrial giants like Facebook are doing to protect our privacy? Talk with a group of cybersecurity engineers from Facebook, and enjoy a reception dinner (free of charge) at Season’s 52 Garden City!

Facebook's Cybersecurity Manager Stephanie Siteman will unleash the exciting opportunities of the Facebook Cybersecurity University Program. In the past year, several dozens of Hofstra students have benefited from the program and they have received travel scholarships to cybersecurity conferences such as USENIX Security and Blackhat. Learn about CSC007 - Cybersecurity for Everyone, jointly developed by Hofstra and Codepath.org, and sponsored by Facebook. This is a new distribution course offered by the computer science department, but open to all students at Hofstra.

Make sure to join us and chat with Facebook engineers!

Due to the limited availability of seats (85), early registration is strongly recommended to ensure your participation. Please RSVP using the following link:

The event is organized by Hofstra Computer Science Society and it is sponsored by Facebook Inc. and the Department of Computer Science, School of Engineering and Applied Sciences of Hofstra University
