Field Trip!

There is a company on Long Island that uses the following technologies: Python, _javascript_, Git, React and many of the technologies you already know. They’re into cloud technologies, cybersecurity, no-SQL databases, and other cool stuff.

The Long Island location alone employs about 200+ software developers and has 22 current CS openings (junior and senior) and is located in a brand-new building with a ton of fun activities on-campus including  indoor basketball and volleyball courts, a cafe, cardio room and yoga studio, indoor and outdoor dining areas, game rooms and a walking trail.

They will soon have internship and co-op opportunities just for Hofstra students.

Curious? The company is DealerTrack.

The Computer Science Department is arranging a visit to DealerTrack’s North Hills location, which is 10 miles from Hofstra.

Date: Friday, September 28, 2018

Time: 10:30 AM – 1:00 PM

There are a limited number of available spots. Sign up ASAP with Ms. Callahan in the Computer Science Department office, Adams 110.

Contact me if you have any questions. Strongly recommended for seniors and juniors.
