Here is the position:


Corporate Systems Support Technician


Major Duties and Responsibilities

·         Provide technical assistance to internal and external computer system users requesting assistance on company provided computer hardware equipment and software applications

·         Complete tasks related to Office 365 migration project, desktop/laptop upgrade project

·         Provides computer/network support relating to software and hardware problems reported by users

  • Log, track and resolve Service Requests, Change Requests and Incident and Problem tickets via Remedy
  • Provides technical support and guidance to users; responds to all user requests promptly and follows-up as necessary to ensure satisfactory resolution to user request


Knowledge and Skills

  • Working knowledge of computer systems and hardware, database software applications and networking systems, and procedures including knowledge of mobile device support (iPhone & iPad)
  • Practical knowledge of Dell/HP hardware, Mobile Device management, Office 365, Exchange, Active Directory & iOS

·         Must have strong organizational and time management skills

·         Able to multi-task; good follow-through skills

·         Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) as well as good interpersonal skills


Education and Experience

  • Degree in computer science/technical discipline preferred, computer systems certifications a plus
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a service desk environment providing technical support to end users via telephone, face to face and remote desktop/management tool
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience


Max Rate: $22/hour

Location: Port Washington
